Tree Surgery
Urban trees need to be cared for, as they can become a danger to the public. Old wounds can be weak points on trees, trees naturally produce dead wood and certain species are prone to splitting as they mature. All these things cause potential hazards. Trees that are growing near to houses can be affecting foundations, their branches may be interfering with gutters or windows. The tree may be just far too big for the size of garden it is in. There may also be the need to clear sites for development reasons. Crown Thinning
The removal of weak, crossing or duplicated branches to allow more light through the crown and to reduce the weight a structurally weak tree has to support. 
X Cupressocyparis Leylandii Reductions
The reduction or complete removal of those dreaded Leyland Cypress (conifer) trees that grow at a tremendous rate, causing no end of problems. 
Site Clearance
Land clearance for development work. 
Dead Wooding
The removal of dead branches, to stop the hazard of them falling on to buildings, vehicles or the public. 
Crown Lifting
The removal of lower branches to clear paths and roads. 
Crown Reduction
A complete reduction of the size of the tree. 
Dismantling and Felling
The complete removal of a tree, by carefully removing it in sections, when an unsafe tree is a hazard to property or the public. 
Stump Grinding
Stump Grinding service available taking the stump 6-8" below ground level. We have a range of machines so access is no problem.
Charges:
Stumps with a diameter of up to 35" £70 +Vat
Stumps with a diameter over 35" £70 then £2 per inch for additional inches + VAT
